Downtown Des Moines Farmers Market

Meet us at the Market on select Saturday mornings. It’s a great way to start off your weekend.

The Downtown Farmers’ Market connects urban and rural communities while supporting nearly 300 local entrepreneurs, including farmers, producers, bakers and artists that represent 50 counties across the state of Iowa. Des Moines’ Downtown Farmers’ Market is produced by the Greater Des Moines Partnership.

• Dates: Every Saturday from May 1 – Oct. 30, 2021
• Times: 7 a.m. – Noon (October: 8 a.m. – Noon)

Since 1975, the Downtown Farmers’ Market has hosted vendors and patrons from counties across Iowa. Farmers, growers and artisan food entrepreneurs offer locally produced fresh fruit, vegetables, eggs, meat, cheese, wine and more. The Market also offers a variety of attractions and activities including shopping for fresh produce, eggs, meats and more, eating breakfast, enjoying the atmosphere, meeting with family and friends and live entertainment.
