PAIRINGS: An Evening of WINE and Appetizers

Come to Amana and indulge in an evening of wine and specialty appetizer pairings from three award winning Iowa wineries. This is the third year for this popular event that features tastings of 6 wines and appetizers expertly paired together. Ackerman Winery, Fireside Winery in the Village, and White Cross Cellars have teamed together for this fun evening of wine and appetizer pairings in the village of Amana.
Participants will be directed to begin their journey to each of the wineries that are located on Amana’s main street across from each other.
Pairings is a ticketed event and is limited to 60 individuals.
APPETIZER MENUS:
FIRESIDE WINERY IN THE VILLAGE:
Tiramisu Cupcakes paired with our Sparkling Biscotti cocktail.
Italian Pinwheels paired with our Blu Wine.

ACKERMAN WINERY:
Caprese Pasta Salad with basil, fresh mozzarella, and Kalamata Olives, drizzled with Olive Oil, and Balsamic.
Paired with our Oktoberfest Wine. Oktoberfest is a blend of LaCrosse, LaCrescent, St. Pepin and Brianna. All are estate grown grapes. On the palate, hints of honey, pear, and stone fruit lead to a long lingering finish. Comparable to a Pino Grigio.
